MARCH 30th, 1991. Time: 21:15. Duration: 20 minutes. From the window of his apartment in Brasilia, Distrito Federal, a man noticed an unidentified flying object flying at high speed over a television tower and about 4 km high. According to the reporting observer, 15 people also saw the UFO which was round in shape, large and orange in color. The sighting was carried out under conditions of visibility considered good, with the naked eye and with an approximate [horizontal] distance from the UFO of about 5 km.

APRIL 13th, 1991. Time: 22:40. Duration: 30 seconds. A military officer on duty, along with 60 people, reported a UFO sighting near the Papuda Penitentiary Complex in Brasilia, Distrito Federal. The witnesses spotted an unidentified round flying object with one meter in diameter, white and yellow colors, and flying in a straight path at a height of 300 meters. According to the observers, the UFO was traveling on an East-West trajectory about 2km away from them [horizontally].

APRIL 18th, 1991. Time: 05:50. Duration: 25 minutes. A miltary in service at the COPM1 [Military Operations Center] of CINDACTA [Integrated Center for Air Defense and Air Traffic Control] reported the detection of several unidentified flying objects that interfered with the route of a passenger plane. According to the information from the reporting witness, the UFO was “visualized in 2 displacements on the APP-BR TA 10M radar, starting from NE (RD 050) + 45NM towards BR until 5NM and afterwards, moving away to the South until it disappeared”. ” The position of the unknown objects was “AZ 050 / 40NM BR up to 50NM”, at a speed “estimated at .9 Mach”. According to the witness, “5 radar contacts at a time” appeared, making a “2309 course up to 5NM from Brasilia, stopped and after another shift to the South”

“Arriving at COPM1 at 08: 45Z, I was asked to appear at APP-BR. Upon arriving, 1S […] informed me that I had already observed a radar contact 3 times primary that appeared at 45NM on radial 050, approached up to 5NM from Brasilia, stopped for a few snapshots and resumed its displacement with bow 1809 until it disappeared. I observed the fact, confirming it twice. I estimated the speed at .9 Mach (35 seconds for 5W) In the second observation the contact came at 8 am (+ 8NM) of the VRG 291, coming from SBTE, going down, crossing FL 160. 0 VRG 291 was instructed to keep the SSR in STBY and turn right, having bypassed by the radar contact at + 10NM. Coincidentally, when it was overtaken by the unknown radar contact, the VRG 291 complained that the transmission of the APP BR (119.2) was accompanied by loud noise, by comparison, the unknown contact and the B737 contact of the VRG 291 had the same brightness. “

APRIL 19th, 1991. Time: 01:35. Duration: not determined. A woman in the Asa Sul region, in Brasília, Distrito Federal, reported continuous sightings of UFOs that occurred for about 3 months. According to the witness, the last sighting, reported in this file, took place “approximately 16km from the end of Asa Sul”, in the “West position”. The three UFOs were large, flashing red and blue lights alternately, and remained stationary most of the time observed. Complementary data from COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command]: “02:30P: a new R/173 call was made and the same [reporting witness] informed that the object of the center suddenly disappeared”. The witness stated that he was with 2 more people in this last sighting, made with the naked eye and under good visibility conditions.

I – I transcribe below the occurrence related to the service from April 17, 91 to and April 18, 91.

II – COPM I (IS HERNANDEZ) informed CODA that APP BRASÍLIA obtained a radar contact with an unidentified object, at approximately 08: 10am. Such an object was detected between radial 040 and 180 of GAMA. moving away at high speed at 50NM from Brasilia, southbound, the first contact occurred at 08:10 as mentioned above, however several others happened until * 08: 47z, observed in the raw video of APP BR.

00:44Z – “Received” UFO “report broadcast by COPM1 (transmitted by Sgt …) with the following content:” The circular or triangular object, in yellow, white and red, was observed at 23:10Z, by “Pampa Branco” [FAB aircraft] that had taken off from the Anápolis Air Base (SBAN) for a mission in the area “golden”. Apparently, such an object was at the same level as the element (FL200). The observation time was 50 minutes. The pilots did not confirm the estimated distance from the UFO to the observed aircraft; however, they reported that, apparently, the object kept the same distance in relation to the “Ace” (leader of the Pampa Branco), and, that was, the object, observed during the whole time of the mission disappearing soon after. […] Weather conditions: good weather. Object observed with the naked eye. “1S […].

Two residents of the Gama Norte region, Distrito Federal, reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object with a star shape and green, blue and red colors, blinking alternately. According to the witnesses, the UFO was “close to the ground” at “slow or stopped” speed. The observers saw the UFO at an estimated distance of 15 km horizontally, in good visibility and with the naked eye. APRIL, 23rd, 1991. Time: 21:00. Duration: 25 minutes. An aircraft pilot reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object that was “apparently round” and with colors “red, blue, white and yellow, following the aircraft”. According to the six witnesses on board the aircraft, the UFO followed the plane at a distance ranging between 30 and 60 NM [nautical miles], and at an altitude also varying between 5,000ft and 10,000ft. The unknown object flew in the “8 hours and 10 hours position”, making “circular movements, going up; non-ballistic movements” and leaving “white trails”. APRIL 26th, 1991. Time: 19:20. Duration: not determined. A woman in Brasília, Distrito Federal, when in the company of another person, noticed an unidentified flying object “due to its strong light” that it emitted. According to the witness, the UFO was “vertical” in shape, but with the appearance of “a small star of strong brightness”, with yellow, red and bluish colors on the edges. The UFO remained stationary while it was observed, at “Noroeste in the position AZ 16 Norte”, flying low and “close to the Bike Path / Embrapa”. The sighting was carried out in clear skies and with the naked eye.

APRIL 24th, 1991. Time: 20:00. Duration: 50 minutes. In São Roque region, in São Paulo-SP, a military in duty at the DTCEA-SRO, São Roque Airspace Control Department, reported an unrecognized “target” on the radar, an unidentified flying object. According to the report, the UFO was “7NM from the position of the Zone Axis of the G-6 78”, and it was moving at low speed, “almost stopped”. The detection was also witnessed by 6 more people at the Airspace Control in São Roque. According to the witness, there was “recording video coverage [at] São Roque”. – “VRG888, SOCA destination, observed an unidentified object at 23:43, 10NM BE, in its 12 o’clock position, when it crossed level 080. The object was not being detected on the radar.
– During the reporting of the VRG888 there was no other aircraft under the control of this APP, which was in that sector, besides the VRG888 itself.
– VRG888 took off at 23:38, and, in addition to this aircraft, we had VSP192- SBBE / SBEG, DEP 23:36, having abandoned TMABE at 23:41, and BLC210, SBTU / SBBE, Lulza at 23:36 and Jara at 23:51.
