Duration: 30 minutes. “Teachers and students of the Centro Educacional de Candangolândia”, a school in Taguatinga, Distrito Federal, spotted an unidentified flying object, similar to “a street lamp”, with a “constant light” color. The UFO, according to the witnesses, remained stationary, at high altitude and in the western position in relation to observers who were in the Candangolândia region. The sighting was made with the naked eye and in rainy weather, “lightning and heavy clouds”. Complementary observation from the COMDABRA’s report: “The moon disappeared at 20:49.”

DEC 2nd, 1992. Time: 20:00. Duration: 20 seconds. In Curitiba, State of Paraná, three people spotted an unidentified flying object with a round shape, “slightly larger than a star”, as seen in the sky. According to the witnesses, the UFO was a “continuous white light” at “very high speed”, flying towards the South of Curitiba. The witness estimated the UFO’s altitude at approximately 45,000 ft. The object was observed with the naked eye in a cloud-free sky.

JAN 5th, 1992. Time: 5:05 am. Duration: 15 minutes. A witness from Vitória, in the state of Espírito Santo, when “lying down, looking at the sky, saw a “point” as if it were a star. Minutes later, she observed other points”. According to the witness, she was with 3 more people who also spotted the 5 shiny silver, point-shaped UFOs, “the size of a star”, as seen in the firmament, at high speed. The five unidentified flying objects “appeared one minute apart” at an altitude “possibly of an aircraft” during a flight. The five UFOs appeared in the West region, on the approach ramp of Vitória Airport, always on the “North / South” trajectory, varying at an angle of approximately 30° from each other. The entire sighting took place with clear skies, at the beginning of the day and in good visibility conditions. To the COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the witness also stated that: “She always believed in UFOs”.

JAN 6th, 1993. Time: 22:10. Duration: 30 minutes. A witness in the Ceilândia Sul region, Distrito Federal, reported the sighting of two oval UFOs: one dark red and the other yellowish white. The two unknown objects were initially seen hovering, but then they moved, oscillating their speeds and keeping “some distance” from each other. The two UFOs flew at an altitude of about 1,500 meters and were observed [horizontally] from approximately 3 km. According to the reporting witness, the sighting was carried out together with 15 more people, with the naked eye and in a partially cloudy sky.

FEB 3rd, 1993. Time: 20:27. Duration: 30 minutes. An officer from the Military Police of the Distrito Federal reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object hovering over the Papuda Penitentiary Complex. According to the witness, other people also observed, for half an hour, the UFO in the shape of an “airplane headlight”, with a blue color that remained stationary above the penitentiary. According to the descriptions, the unknown object was at a high altitude and was observed by everyone with the naked eye.

Complementary notes in the COMDABRA’s report [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command]: an engineer employed by the City of Brasília, together with a friend and a guard “saw a very bright ball passing very fast over the city in the West / East direction. MARCH 3rd, 1993. Time: 23:00. Duration: 1 hour. A man from the Orleans neighborhood in Curitiba, State of Paraná, reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object when he was with four people. According to his description, the UFO was shaped like a star, with red color while moving, and white when stationary. According to the witnesses, the UFO had an “extremely fast” speed when it moved in a straight path through the North-West direction at high altitude. The sighting took place under good visibility and with the naked eye.

MARCH 24th, 1993. 06:00 am. Duration: 10 minutes. A woman from Curitiba, who “already observed UFOs in 1987”, reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object moving vertically “from bottom to top” at high altitude in the western region of the city. According to her description, the UFO was round, with a golden and shiny color, it moved at “sharp” speed and left a “luminous trail”. As for its size, the UFO was “inferior to the Sun”, from the perspective of those who observe it in the sky. The weather was partly cloudy when the sighting occurred with the naked eye.

MARCH 28th, 1993. Time: 23:47. Duration: 30 seconds. Walking on the street of his house, on a cloudy night, a woman from Curitiba, State of Paraná, spotted four unidentified flying objects performing circular trajectories. According to the witness, the UFOs were round and the size “a little smaller than the full moon”, but blue in color. The UFOs initially flew at low speed (about 10 km/h) and “soon disappeared quickly”. The four unknown objects were seen in the southwest sector of Curitiba at about 6,000 ft of altitude, and being observed [horizontally] at about 4 km. The sighting was done with the naked eye.

APRIL 4th, 1993. 00:27 am. Duration: First sighting: 15 minutes. Second sighting: 5 minutes. A woman from Paranaguá, State of Paraná, reported two sightings of two unidentified flying objects that occurred within a month in her region. According to the witness, she was with her family when they observed two UFOs in the form of stars, however much smaller, with varied colors that changed from red and green, to white and blue. The UFOs moved slowly “at the height of airplanes”. The first sighting took place in March 1993 near the western sector of Curitiba. The second sighting occurred in the southeastern region of Curitiba. According to the witness, the two were UFOs flying apart and “spinning around their own axis”. According to the observations in the report provided to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], “nothing was detected on the radar”. The sighting took place with the naked eye and with good visibility.
