Dear Mrs.:

On  [erased] at [erased] (dawn of [erased]), with a variation of no more than 00:05 more or less, I was in the north of [erased], in the region of Rio Macuco (Fazenda Macuco), with approximate coordinates of 50 18 30 W and 11 15 00 S, with four more comrades, when, from west to east, a luminous point passed, comparable to the largest visible “stars”. Maybe bigger. Appearing at a much lower altitude than any artificial satellite or artifact resulting from the space race and in orbit. It moved very fast. After 30 seconds, two aircrafts the size of a passenger/cargo Boeing passed, side by side, both in the same direction, north south, with no more than a few kilometers apart. Maybe 2 or 3, if that. Exactly over our heads, they cross the trajectory of the “previous object”. We could see the aircraft with surprising clarity, as they were fully illuminated, that is, with all the lights on, with the one on the right, immediately afterwards, turning off the lights, and returning to normal lighting. It was still very dark on the ground and the moon was almost in waning quarter (03/15/93). Then we lost sight of them because we were in a clearing inside the forest. The Fact itself may not be of greater significance, after a more consistent analysis, but, thinking it may be of some use, I leave this testimony.

JUNE 21st, 1993. Time: 19:50. Duration: not determined. The pilot and co-pilot of the a Boeing 767 from brazilian air company VARIG spotted four UFOs twice, with the naked eye and in a clear sky, when flying over the region between Porto Velho-RO and Campo Grande-MS, on the SBPV-SBCY route [from Porto Velho-RO to Cuiabá-MT]. According to the witnesses’ report, the objects resembled “four orange fireballs”, positioned between “10 and 11 hours” below the aircraft, in “wing position”.

Complementary data from the report made by COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] reports that the: “Information [was] given by the sergeant […] (ACC-CD operator) who received the information from the aircraft commander. The VASP 767 commander reported:” They seemed to be tongues of fire from four fighters when they open after combustion “.

JUNE 24th, 1993.

A commercial pilot on the aircraft prefix PT LSF reported three sightings, on three different days, from UFO during three flights from Brasília-DF to Curitiba-PR.

According to the pilot, the UFO varied in colors red, green, white and blue. Such lights and its high speed were the only characteristics that the pilot was able to describe from the unidentified flying object.

In the first sighting, the UFO remained above the aircraft of the reporting pilot, in the Northwest/West position, on the horizon, then below and then disappearing. Duration: 30 minutes. People on board: 4. Visibility conditions: top FL 370 [37,000 feet].

In the second sighting, according to the pilot, the same thing happened. Duration: 30 minutes. People on board: 2. Visibility conditions: clear sky.

In the third sighting, the UFO positioned itself to the Northeast then to the North and Northeast again. Duration: the entire flight on the Brasília/Curitiba route. People on board: 2. Visibility conditions: clear sky.

Regarding the UFO’s speed, the object followed the displacement of the Pilot’s plane = 320 kt [576 km / h].

According to the complementary data of the report made by the pilot for COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command]:

“Bright lights. The beginning of the observation […] after takeoff from SBBR [Brasília Airport] and when passing at Abm AN.

First observation: 70 NM Sul SBGO [Airport of Goiás], ACC-BS [Air Traffic Controllers of Brasília Area Control Center] reported having RADAR detection speed 130 kt [240 km / h] to supersonic;

Second observation: the same position as the first; went to W and disappeared;

Third observation: right after SBBR takeoff. Followed the entire displacement of the aircraft on the SBBR / SBCT Route. Position 02 hours to 12 hours (lowered FL from aircraft 350). Close to Curitiba, it headed towards Ponta Grossa, Campo Largo and disappeared.

SEPT 16th, 1993. Time 20:44. Duration: 3 minutes. During a training mission of the “3rd / 10th GAv – Centauro Squadron”, [located at Santa Maria Air Base] for interception missions by the Brazilian Air Force Fighter Aviation, two pilots observed an unidentified flying object for 3 minutes. According to the pilots’ description, the UFO was a white light that moved at a speed “above Mach .8” [close to the speed of sound]. Also according to the witnesses, the UFO moved from North to South and “passed the aircraft vertically” at an altitude of FL400 [40,000 feet] and at a distance of 10,000 feet. Also according to the observations in the report made by COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command]: “During the mission, no evidence or primary plot was seen at the time the pilot informed about the UFO in flight”.

OCT 9th, 1993. Time: 20:00. Duration: 15 minutes. Six people in Vila Planalto, Brasília, Distrito Federal, observed for fifteen minutes a large, round UFO, with red, yellow and green colors, flying at low altitude and slow speed. According to the witnesses, the unknown object made a vertical trajectory south of Vila Planalto, and 2 km away from the observer. The sighting took place under good visibility conditions and was carried out with the naked eye

JAN 5th, 1994. 00:30 am. Duration: not determined. A group of people in the region of Praia de Caiobá, coast of the State of Paraná, spotted an unidentified flying object moving in a trajectory that was perpendicular to the beach. The UFO was round and had an orange-red color and, according to the reporting witness, “the object appeared to alternately light up and go out”. Also according to the witness’s description, the UFO left a “whitish trail at the rear”. The sighting was done with the naked eye, with no records in photographs or filming.

JAN 8th and JAN 9th, 1994. 11:05 am. Duration: 7 hours in the 1st day. A woman from Taguatinga Norte, Distrito Federal, reported that she and four other people spotted unidentified flying objects for two in a row. One UFO on the 8th of January and two UFOs on the 9th of January. According to the description made by the reporting witness, the objects approached in the position where the sun is seen, and their shapes had the appearance of a bright star. The witnesses were unable to estimate the altitude, the distance or the size of the objects sighted. The sighting took place in good visibility.

JAN 13th, 1994. Time: 20:40. Duration: 25 minutes. Three people reported a sighting in the vicinity of the “SBFI” [Foz do Iguaçu Airport, State of Paraná]. According to the description, the UFO was round, large, but varied in size and remained stationary during the time of the observation. The unknown object had an intense blue-green color and was positioned at “medium” height. The sighting occurred with the naked eye and under unstable weather with light rain.

JAN 15th, 1994. Time: 20:05. Duration: 1 hour. In Curitiba, Paraná State, about 20 people spotted an unidentified flying object moving south. According to the witness that reported the sighting, the UFO was red and sometimes changed to yellow. The same witness was unable to estimate the size and shape of the object that emitted the lights. It was informed that there was filming of the sighting, but the video file was not made available.

Between 18:00 and 21:42 on February 2nd, 1994, 53 people from 4 different locations in the Distrito Federal region observed an unidentified flying object moving very slowly, and sometimes remaining stationary.

The reported sightings were made from:  Novo Cruzeiro district in Brasília-DF; Cidade Ocidental-GO; Gama Oeste-DF; and Valparaíso-GO.

– 20 people in Cruzeiro Novo, Brasília, Distrito Federal, between 18:00 and 18:30, observed an unknown object in the shape of a “stretched binocular, changing position in an East-South direction” at high altitude. According to the witness who reported the event to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] the UFO was green, yellow and red, and it was large. It seemed like a “kite” in the sky.

– 11 people in the South of Cidade Ocidental-GO from 18:15 to 18:42 observed a UFO “stationary, reflecting the sun” and moving at “low speed” in a straight path.

– 15 people in Gama Oeste, Federal District from 18:45 to 20:00, observed a UFO in slow speed, with a sparkling “star” appearance, but “bigger than a star”, flying at a great altitude in an East-West trajectory.

– 7 people in Valparaíso-GO, on the “road that goes to Luziânia-GO”, between 19:20 and 19:30 saw a UFO reflecting the sun and “moving very slowly on the horizon”, at about 1km altitude. According to the description, the UFO was round and made a “straight ascending trajectory, in the South direction”.

All observations reported were made with clear skies and with good visibility conditions.
