In the Asa Norte region, in Brasília, Distrito Federal, three people observed, with the naked eye and with binoculars, the moves of an unidentified flying object “just above the clouds”. According to the witnesses, the UFO was shaped like “a pen” being first in the vertical position and then in the horizontal position. The unknown object had blue, red and yellow colors, and it was about 5 km away from the observers. The sighting took place in a sky with few clouds and, when He saw the UFO for the first time, the witness “thought it was a plane”, but he changed his mind because he realized “it was stopped for 30 minutes”.

JUNE 18th, 1994. Time: 18:00. Duration: 2 hours. In the São Félix do Araguaia region, State of Mato Grosso, two people observed two unidentified flying objects remain stationary for two hours. According to the witnesses, the UFOs were star-shaped, blue in color and were flying close to each other. The witnesses couldn’t estimate the altitude of the objects. The sighting was carried out with the naked eye and with a clear sky. There were no reports of photographs or filming of the event.

JUN 19th, 1994. Time: 23:55. Duration: not determined. A group of firefighters in the region of Porto Velho, State of Rondônia, observed several appearances of an unidentified flying object performing a “curvilinear, anti-clockwise” trajectory, and flying slowly towards the RD076 highway, near Porto Velho. According to the firefighters who reported the sighting, the UFO “looked like a cone (oval)”, it was big and red. The object was between FL090 [9.000ft] and FL150 [15.000ft], and between RDL 010 and RDL 085. The witnesses stated that “each apparition lasted an average of 5 minutes”. Firstly they observed the UFO with the naked eye, and then with binoculars. The report collected by COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], also states that: “The moment he reported the occurrence, the object reappeared, remaining that way during the report of that military man”.

JUN 25th, 1994. Time: 21:10. Duration: 30 minutes. In the Cruzeiro Velho region, Distrito Federal, two people observed an unidentified flying object at high altitude flying at a slow speed from the Northeast to Southeast direction. According to the witnesses, the UFO was shaped like a “very large quadrilateral” and had the “color of fire”. The sighting took place during a clear night and was performed with the naked eye. No filming or photographs were taken of the event.

When he was close to the BR-116 highway, in the Pinheirinho region, Curitiba, State of Paraná, a man spotted two unidentified flying objects in the shape of balls; “two balls, one below, one above”. JULY 21st, 1994. Time: 9:51 pm. Duration: Not determined. A couple in the region of Prado Velho, Curitiba, State of Paraná, reported a sighting of two unidentified flying objects in the shape of “bright white dots (like stars), one small and the other large”. According to the witnesses’ reports, as collected by the COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the objects flew slowly and came to be at a distance of “6 meters in relation to the observer” and followed in a straight path. Also according to the report, the sighting occurred at a moment when one of the witnesses contacted the Air Force, and “had been observed for some time” before that. According to additional information in the COMDABRA’s report, “there was no radar detection” of the objects seen by the couple in Curitiba on that clear night.

AUG 2nd, 1994. Time: 18:07. Duration: 5 seconds. A commercial pilot from Goiânia-GO, reported seeing a UFO when he was “in charge of the [aircraft] PT-ESA on August 2nd, 1994, at 18:07, on the RD010/145NM [nautical miles] from BRS [Brasília], at bow 190°, FL 080. According to the pilot’s description, “the object resembled an aircraft with a disintegrating nose. It crossed from right to left at descending altitude.” The witness was unable to determine precisely how far he was from the sighted object, but stated that it was higher than his plane. The sighting occurred when PT-ESA was flying over the Minaçu-GO region, on RD010°/145NM BRS.

Still according to the pilot, the UFO, besides being “like an aircraft disintegrating”, it seemed to suffer this ‘incident’ from its “oval tail” on. Regarding the size, the UFO appeared to be “the size of a Boeing’s fuselage”. Its color was “blue-green, becoming reddish-yellow”. Its speed was “compatible with that of a jet plane” and when it passed in the West-East direction it left a trail “similar to an asteroid”.

The pilot also stated that “there were 6 people on board but they were not alerted at the time, as the phenomenon occurred very quickly” and that “at first, he did not think it was a UFO, but an aircraft in disintegration and after [he thought it was] an asteroid “.
