In the city of Parobé, State of Rio Grande do Sul, two witnesses spotted an unidentified rectangular flying object about 40 meters in size, flying at low speed and with little altitude without leaving any trails or displacement trails. The sighting of the two UFOs was carried out under conditions of visibility described as “good” from the center of the city.

SEPT 1st, 2002. Time: 6:30 pm. Duration: 45 minutes. A witness residing in Curitiba, State of Paraná, spotted two large, unidentified flying objects in the form of silver and white globes, that most of the time remained static at an altitude of about 2,000ft. The two UFOs had a “bigger than star” observation aspect and when they moved in the west direction, they did it slowly in circular movements. Also according to the witness, the UFOs had a clear halo when they were in motion.

In the report of COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the witness made more observations regarding the sighting:

“Approximately 5 or 6 days ago, the same object was observed at approximately the same location, with behavior similar to the observation reported today, but heading south after some time parked, disappearing between clouds. The object disappeared during the communication of this report.”

DEC 16th, 2002. Time: 1:35 am. Duration: 25 minutes. A Brazilian Army Reserve Officer was in the neighborhood of Navegantes, city of Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, when he sighted 7 (seven) unidentified flying objects with the shape of small white “dots”. The 7 UFOs were just 600 meters from the witness and they were traveling at about 100km/h and at an altitude of approximately 300m. The objects flew in the Southwest/Northeast direction. The sighting was carried out in good visibility conditions and, according to the witness, there was no record of trails or electrical/electronic anomalies during the event.

DEC 19th, 2002. Time: 9:50 am. Duration: 90 minutes. In Sobradinho, a town in the Distrito Federal, two witnesses using binoculars spotted an unidentified flying object with the appearance of a bright star and the shape of a “balloon”. The UFO was stationary and at “very high” altitude and it remained in this mode for about 90 minutes, leaving no visible trails or trails, according to witnesses who observed it in good visibility conditions and in the “open sky”.

DEC 26th, 2002. Time: 1:00 pm. Duration: 10 minutes. In the city of Novo Hamburgo, State of Rio Grande do Sul, four people in Vila Santo Alonso district, spotted 4 (four) unidentified flying objects with the form of shiny silver stars and the size “close to that of the Venus star” from the perspective of observation of the witnesses, who estimated a distance between them and the objects of 50km. According to the report, the UFOs moved erratically and were at an altitude between “10 and 15 thousand meters”, but it was not possible to estimate their speed. Also according to the report by COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the witnesses were all members of the same family and made the following observations regarding the sighting:

“They moved away from each other quickly, then they would get closer, almost touching each other, getting back [apart] in pair. They were behavioring as if they were parachutists performing maneuvers, but without opening the parachute”.

FEB 3rd, 2003. Time: 22h00pm. Duration: 25 minutes. Three people of the same family in the city of São José dos Pinhais, near Curitiba, State of Paraná, spotted 6 (six) unidentified flying objects with a circular shape and white color. The UFOs, according to the witnesses, were “5 meters in diameter”, were going “very fast” at about 2,000 meters high. Also according to the witnesses, the UFOs maintained a certain distance between themselves and they were approximately 12 km from the observers, in the direction of Serra do Mar, moving in a South / North direction. The visibility conditions were good.

FEB 27th, 2003. Time; 5 pm. Duration: 40 seconds. In the city of Curitiba, State of Paraná, a witness in the neighborhood of Portão reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object in the shape of a bright blue star. The UFO was apparently stopped, but then was  seen flying towards the Northeast. The witness reported that the visibility conditions were good, without the presence of clouds, and that there was also no visible record of sound or trail emitted by the sighted object.

APRIL 26th, 2003. Time: 03h00am. Duration: 20 seconds. At the Campinas Airport, State of São Paulo, five people spotted an unidentified flying object in the shape of a reddish circle and the size described as twenty (20) times larger than a Boeing 747. Also according to the witness’s report to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the UFO was at a low altitude and it was flying at a “very fast” speed and it was also observed under good visibility.

APRIL 26th, 2003. 04:05 am. In the city of Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerais, a captain of the Fire Department reported to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] the communication of several people reporting that they had spotted an unidentified flying object in Belo Horizonte:
“The Captain […] called to report the occurrence of many reports about unidentified objects in the air space of Belo Horizonte. Personally he did not see anything and he was unable to specify what was being seen.”

MAY 23rd, 2003. Time: 8:00 pm. Duration: 15 minutes. In the city of Senador Firmino, State of Minas Gerais, several people witnessed the sighting of an unidentified flying object “in the sky, making movement like a windshield wiper”, according to the words of the witness who provided information to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command ]. The UFO was round in shape and emitted a strong glow. Still according to the report, the visibility conditions at the time were “optimal”, “clear skies”.
