SEPT 23rd, 2010. Time: 5:30 am. Duration: 01 minute. During the flight GLO 1201, in the stretch between the city of Belém, State of Pará, and the city of Fortaleza, State of Ceará, a pilot and two other witnesses spotted an unidentified flying object with a strong light, no defined shape and “larger than the apparent size of Venus” when seen in the sky. The UFO was traveling at a speed “close to that of a jet”, at an altitude of approximately 10,000ft above the GLO 1201 aircraft. According to the pilot’s information, the visibility conditions were good, “open sky “, and the UFO was going the Southwest/Northeast direction, and left no tracks, or trails while deslocating.

NOV 13th, 2010. Time: 05:20 am. Duration: approximately 5 minutes. A pilot and co-pilot of flight GLO 1131, between Boa Vista, State of Roraima and Manaus, State of Amazonas, spotted an unidentified flying object when they were 75 nautical miles from Manaus and at approximately 23,000ft of altitude. According to the witnesses’ report, the UFO consisted of a very strong light that traveled at high speed, making maneuvers above and in front of its aircraft, and heading towards the Southwest direction. The following are additional comments from the COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] report: “It was reported to ACC-AZ, by GOL 1131, that it spotted a UFO when crossing FL 230 to FL 370, on RDL 152/75 NM MNS , with a Southwest direction. It was a very strong light, of high speed. Above and in front of your aircraft. “

NOV 15, 2010. At 18h55pm, during 15 minutes, two military operators and a meteorologist working at Eduardo Gomes Airport’s Control Tower spotted a large, dark unidentified flying object with a “V” shape and moving at high speed in the Northeast / Southwest direction. According to the observers’ report, the UFO traveled “apparently above the flight level of an ordinary aircraft, leaving behind what appeared to be condensation trails.

Following the additional observations of the COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] report: “TWR-EG operator, called informing that he had seen a UFO flying to the Southwest sector of SBEG [Manaus Airport]. and reported that the object apparently flew above normal levels for aircraft, [and also] cited that the object was dark in color, “V” shaped and that it appeared to be larger than a Boeing 747 and that he saw two traces of condensation trail. TWR-EG operators and the meteorologist spotted the object”.

MAR 16th, 2011. Time: 11:00 am. For 90 minutes, on the Campus of the State University of Londrina, in the State of Paraná, about 20 people spotted a bright white UFO of “variable size”, which alternated vertical movements at high speed with stops along its trajectory. According to the witnesses, the visibility conditions were good and the object left no trails, tracks or displacement marks. There is information that the sighting was filmed, but the video file was not made available. Additional observations in the COMDABRA’s [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] report state that this information was passed on by APP-LO Supervision [Londrina Approach Control] and the latter reported that “the sighting was approximately on Radial 300 to 7NM [nautical miles] from Londrina; other people also saw it “

JUN 30th, 2011. At 21:45z. For two days in a row, on the same route, a pilot from Total Linhas Aéreas flight TTL 9930 reported sightings of an unidentified flying object in the stretch between Carauari Airport and Porto Urucu District Airport [in Coari], both cities of the state of Amazonas. The pilot reported having identified the UFO two days with the ACAS [Onboard Anticollision System], always on the same route, and always positioning itself about 7 Nautical Miles in front of the pilot’s aircraft, following it, and copying the movements made of the pilot’s aircraft for about 7 minutes.

The report by COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] brings the following observations according to the pilot’s testemony:

“It was reported by the pilot of the TTL 9930, whose route was from SWCA [Carauari Airport] to SBUY [Porto Urucu Airport, in Coari], that when his cruise level stabilized, a plote appeared on his 7-inch anti-collision radar equipment  miles in front of his aircraft and accompanied him and that any movement made by his ACFT to unknown ACFT also did the same procedures and shortly after 7 min it disappeared. The pilot also reported that this is not the first time this fact has happened, the fact occurred between 21: 30z DEP time and 21:54 ETA ACFT TTL 9930 registration: PR-TTK The same fact occurred the previous day, 06/29/2011, the target appeared again accusing resolution on the TTL 9930 ACAS equipment in the same route.”

JULY 16th, 2011. At 8:15 pm. Three witnesses spotted an unidentified flying object “practically stopped” about 20 nautical miles from the east sector of Londrina Airport. The UFO consisted of flashing lights in blue, red and green and it was moving slowly from North to South. The three witnesses who spotted the UFO hovering over the Londrina’s Airport for 8 minutes are two Airport Approach Control Center employees and a commercial pilot. Their reports coincide, as additional notes from the COMDABRA’s report [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] show: “A COLLEAGUE FROM APP-LO, CALLED APP-LO ABOUT THE SIGHTING OF THE UFO. I WAS ABLE TO SEE MANY DETAILS. THE TIB-5641, FROM SBGR [Guarulhos Airport] TO SBLO [Londrina Airport], ALSO SAW THE UFO, AS IT APPROACHED LONDRINA’S AIRSTRIP 31. I KNOW THERE ARE SOME AERODROMES WITH A BALIZATION FOR THE NIGHT, NEAR LONDRINA BUT THEY ARE NOT APPROVED FOR THIS OPERATION; THE UFO MAY  BE AN AIRPLANE, BUT AS IT WAS NOT IN CONTACT WITH LONDRINA I DECIDED TO REPORT”.

JULY 30th, 2011. At about noon, two witnesses residing in the Cruzeiro Novo neighborhood, in Brasília-DF, observed for sixty minutes two unidentified flying objects hovering over the city at an airplane’s cruising altitude. According to the report, the two bright white UFOs were smaller and longer than an average plane and were heading slowly towards the Lago Sul direction. One of the witnesses informed COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], “that they saw two bright spots in the distance around noon. The elongated dots were moving in a random fashion and disappearing a few times.”

OCTOBER 8th, 2011. From the balcony of his residence, in the Boa Viagem neighborhood, city of Recife, State of Pernambuco, an aircraft pilot spotted an unidentified flying object with intense light, moving above the Boa Viagem beach, from 5:25pm to 5:30pm, and performing an unusual maneuver. The witness promptly reported the sighting to the ACC-Recife [Recife-PE Area Control Center] which registered it.
According to the document filled by COMDABRA’s representative [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the witness: “REPORTED THAT HE SAW A STRONG LIGHT IN A PARALLEL ROUTE TO THE BOA VIAGEM BEACH IN THE NORTH DIRECTION, APPARENTLY AS FAST AS A COMMON AIRCRAFT. HOWEVER, AFTER APPROACHING AVENIDA BOA VIAGEM, 4520 (NEXT TO THE CASTLE) TURNED RIGHT AT A HIGH SPEED AND MAINTAINED ITS INTENSE LIGHT UNTIL IT SINKED IN THE HORIZON. “

FEB 10th, 2012. At 2:50 pm, during a flight from Belém, in the State of Pará, to Brasília, DF, a pilot of a TAM Airliner reported to the Amazon Area Control Center (ACC-AZ) the detection of an unidentified flying object by the TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) of his aircraft, what forced him to make a preventive detour for safety reasons. The TAM aircraft was flying over Palmas, in the State of Tocantins when the TCAS warned.

The report by COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] states that: “The pilot of flight TAM3715 from Belém to Brasília, level 310, reported having seen an unknown traffic at 20nm, one hour position, by the aircraft’s TCAS equipment. It was necessary an evasive maneuver to the left. Upon informing the ACC-AZ of the occurrence, it was verified by the operator, that there was a multiplicity of targets on the radar console screen. “

MAR 3rd, 2012. In downtown Alegrete, a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, on a clear night, a witness observed twelve (12) unidentified flying objects with a round shape and orange color. The UFOs resembled small stars when viewed with the naked eye and  were approximately 200m apart from each other. For about two minutes, the witness observed the deslocation of the twelve UFOs to the Northeast direction, at a presumed altitude of 7km. The witness also reported that “there were 12 objects separated into 2 groups. The first with 6 or 7, and the second with the other objects”, and also that “the objects resembled small stars with luminous halos, with 2 or 3 of them pulsing quickly and becoming white. “
