JULY 29th, 2015 – 14h25. While flying over the southern region of the State of Minas Gerais, about to enter the airspace of the State of São Paulo, a fighter jet pilot from the Brazilian Air Force spotted an unidentified flying object for about a minute. The occurrence was reported to COMDABRA’s representative [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] in the following terms: “the presence of a long tubular black object at approximately 33,000 feet of altitude, positioned to the left and close to the path of our descent (.. .) “. The report also informs that the object left no marks or trails in the sky, and does not inform the presumable distance between the military aircraft and the probable object.

According to a report given to COMDABRA’s representative [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], on August the 17th, 2015 at 11:20pm, three people saw a round flashing white object right above Manaus’ Air Base, moving slowly at approximately 700 miles of altitude. The witnesses, as reported, had meteorological and aviation knowledge. It was a clear sky night and they requested a rescue vehicle from the Air Force Base to check the object, but as soon as the vehicle was ready, the light started to turn off slowly. The object made no noise and left no marks or trails in the sky.

AUGUST 31st, 2015 – In downtown Ivaiporã, a small city in the state of Paraná, at 7:45pm, a civil servant observed two white and spherical objects deslocating about 10 miles apart from each other, and at an altitude of approximately 15 miles high. The two unidentified flying objects, according to the report given to COMDABRA’s representative [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], were heading North at an approximate speed of 1,000 mph. Still according to the report, “the two objects then seemed to merged into one another”.

SEPTEMBER 4th, 2015. From 11h25pm to 11h37pm at Ponta Pelada Airport in the city of Manaus, Amazonas, an air traffic controller and two military, one of them a FAB pilot [Brazilian Air Force], saw an unidentified flying object, which looked like a white bright light, zigzagging after being stationary for a while at about 3.000ft, positioned right at the takeoff extension area. According to the sargeant, also an air traffic controller  [the one who gave the report to COMDABRA’s representative [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], “that was not the first time this light was observed”. The witness also reported that the weather conditions were great that particular night, with clear sky.

OCTOBER 4th, 2015. Five minutes after taking off with a plane from Rio de Janeiro Tom Jobim International Airport, a pilot resident in the city of Jundiaí, São Paulo reported seeing three agglutinated blinking lights. Their colors were red, blue and ambar and they were apparently stationary at an altitude of approximately 23.000 ft. The sight, according to the pilot’s report, occurried over Santa Cruz district, in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro city.

The pilot also reported to COMDABRA’s representative [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], his own impressions about the event: “It is strange the fact that they were between two layers, and [the fact that] the three lights were together, what unabled them to be characterized as normal a aircraft. The pilot also suspected they were a drone or some kind of balloon.
