JAN 20th, 1999. Time: 11h00pm. Duration: 30 seconds. In the Santa Cândida neighborhood, in Curitiba, State of Paraná, three people spotted and had close eye contact with two UFOs in the shape of red stars. With about twenty centimeters in diameter, the red orbs were only three feet away from the witnesses. After that the UFOs  zigzagged, reached the ground, emitted a low humming noise, left dark condensation trails and finally headed north.

JAN 23rd, 1999. Time: 10h40 pm. Duration: 15 minutes. Between the cities of Luziânia and Ipameri, State of Goiás, an unidentified flying object with the appearance of bright red, blue and green lights, and the size of an airplane, was spotted by two people. According to the witnesses, the UFO was observed zigzagging in the Southwest direction at an altitude of approximately 10km and flying at 500km / h.

FEB 1st, 1999. Time: 08h00 pm. Duration: 7 minutes. In the Samambaia neighborhood, Brasília, Distrito Federal, seven people observed four (4) UFOs zigzagging and leaving trails of light when moving. The four unidentified flying objects had the shape of “points of light”, in red and orange, and were about 30km away from the observation point, as estimated by one of the witnesses. According to the report given to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the sighting took place under a clear sky and it was recorded with a video camera, however the sighting video was not made available with this file. Other observations in the COMDABRA report inform that the: “The objects evolved without a defined distance between them and disappeared. Then they reappeared.”

FEB 4th, 1999. Time: 8:00 pm. Duration: 2 minutes. Three people observed an unidentified flying object in the form of a white star in the city of Curitiba, State of Paraná. According to the witness who provided information to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], the UFO remained stationary during most of the sighting and, thus, observed from a distance, it looked like a “common star” in the sky, positioned close to the horizon .

FEB 11th, 1999. Time: 06h00am. Duration: 5 minutes. In Irati, State of Paraná, on a clear day, four people saw three white UFOs, shaped like a star, flying at high speed and at an altitude of approximately 10,000m. According to the witnesses, the unidentified objects changed their trajectories during the time they were observed. Firstly, they were seen going from West to East. Then from North to South. And finally from East to West. The UFOs emitted a bright light and also varied the distances between them as they moved without leaving trails of condensation or smoke traces. There was no record on film or photos.

FEB 14th, 1999. Time: 22h00. Duration: 4 minutes. In the region of São José dos Macacos, in Armazém, State of Santa Catarina, a group of about 40 people spotted an unidentified, small, round flying object emitting yellow light. The UFO, according to witnesses, flies at low speed but at high altitude, going north and back, as if it were looking for something on the ground.

More details on the sighting can be read in the COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] report observations as follows:

“An hour after the UFO was seen, 2 aircraft appeared practically following it from a distance. These two aircraft were seen and heard by all present. After the UFO left the viewers’ view towards the north, the aircraft were still heard almost during all morning. The UFO sometimes emitted a flash of light directed at the ground (kind of a beacon0 that came to light up. “

FEB 18th, 1999. Time: 00h30, Duration: 10 minutes. In Rio Doce region, in Olinda, State of Pernambuco, two unidentified flying objects were spotted by two people in a clear sky night. According to the observers, the UFO was large and shaped like a multicolored spotlight, like a prism. The flying object flew at slow speed and moved in a straight line towards the East.

FEB 28th, 1999. Time: 1h50 am. Duration: not determined. In Vila Ipiranga, Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, two people spotted an unidentified flying object, small in size and shaped like a multicolor star. According to the witnesses, the object flew from South to North alternating movements to the sides, ascents and stops. Observations in the COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] report further state that: “The object was being observed from the apartment’s balcony […] it was stopped at first, then moved to the left and went up. Its colors alternated in green, red and blue. It was not possible to obtain too much data from the observer, because the call was interrupted and he did not try to make a new contact. “

MARCH, 6th, 1999. Time: 10h20 pm. Duration: 10 seconds. In Colina Verde, Londrina, State of Paraná, a person spotted an unidentified flying object heading West. According to the witness, the UFO was the size of an airplane and emitted a yellow light, flying at a slow speed. Despite the sighting taking place under clear skies and good visibility conditions, no traces of condensation were reported from the object, nor video records or photographs of the event that lasted ten seconds.

MARCH 10th, 1999. Time: 19h00. Duration: 1 hour. Three people observed a round yellow UFO flying slowly in Sobradinho, Distrito Federal. It was a clear sky night when the three witnesses spotted the UFO at great altitude moving towards Radial RDL 040 BRS [Brasília] in slow motion, almost stopping. The witness who reported the sighting to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], also stated that she has “observed this object four times in the past 30 days.”
