NOV 23rd, 1999. Time: 04h30 pm. Duration: 40 minutes. In Ceilândia Norte, Distrito Federal, three people spotted a UFO, and at least one of them had a close eye contact with the white round object just 200 meters away. The UFO was seen at an altitude of 4,000 meters with “jet” speed, but then it was reported traveling around the house of one of the witnesses who described it as having the size of a “bicycle wheel” when it got closer to her. The object headed north and it was observed under good conditions of visibility. The witness’ report to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] also stated that:

“It was seen by a housewife about 200 meters from the object. It had a round shape and in the center there was a white and bright light, and around it was yellow, green and blue alternately. With that, two more people were called to verify what happened. “

DEC 13th, 1999. Time: 04h40 am. Duration: 40 minutes. In São Paulo-SP, under favorable weather conditions, two people saw a large round white UFO, resembling a white ball, invested by red light and green lights. According to the witnesses, the object was spotted traveling at low speed, but it remained stationary most of the time. There was no record of condensation trails or photographs taken by the witness.

DEC 16th, 1999. Time: 03h50 am. Duration: 20 minutes. Two witnesses in the city of Bela Vista, State of São Paulo, spotted a round white UFO with red and green edges. The objetc was “bigger than a big plane”, and also round in shape but with part of its body in a triangular form. The two observers were using binoculars and saw the UFO about 5 km away from them, in favorable weather conditions for sky observation.

DEC 23rd, 1999. Time: 5:30 am. Duration: 40 minutes. In the industrial areal of Brasília,  Federal District, a sighting of an unidentified flying white object, similar to a star and with the size of “half a car”, was reported. The UFO was stationary at an altitude of approximately 1,000m at a point about 45km from where the observer was according to his report. The weather conditions were favorable for observing the sky with the naked eye at the day and place specified in the witness report to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], who also told them that “The first sighting was a red light. Right after that, a bright it was white light that remained for 40 minutes to 1 hour.”

JAN 6th, 2001. Time: 10am. Duration: 30 minutes. In the city of Foz do Iguaçu, (State of Paraná) bordering Paraguay and Argentina, a sighting of several unidentified flying objects was reported. The UFOs were moving in groups, keeping a 2m distance from each other. The objects were red and “similar to balloons” in shape, but moved at a very low altitude, [100 meters], and also very close to where the witness was.

The report to COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] concludes informing that:

“Mr. […] reported seeing UFOs for 60 years. Five days ago, some extraterrestrials gave him the message that they were going to dominate the Earth. In yesterday’s sighting, a balloon-shaped mothership appeared with thousands of other square and shiny objects; these followed a Varig aircraft until it disappeared into the clouds; the objects returned and formed a Southern Cross. The rapporteur called the airport and the operators said they had no radar view. “

This report of the sighting of a round orange UFO in the Pilarzinho neighborhood was not the only one in Curitiba on the same night and in the same time frame [see case ARX.0.0.570 “A round orange UFO hovered over Curitiba [2000]“. In Pilarzinho, just like in Xaxim neighborhood, the witness reported the sighting of an unidentified round flying object, orange-colored moving northwards. The witness informed that the weather in that particular night. The sky was partly cloudy.

JAN 13th, 2000. Time: 23h50pm. Duration: 01 hour. In the Xaxim neighborhood, in Curitiba, State of Paraná, under a partially cloudy sky, several witnesses observed an unidentified round flying object with an orange color. According to the witnesses’ reports, the UFO remained stationary for as long as it was observed. The COMDABRA’s [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] report tells that: “He informed that many nieghbors in his street were also watching.”

JAN 16th, 2000. Time: 12:15 am. Duration: 20 minutes. In Passo da Areia, a district in the city of Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, under good visibility conditions, two people spotted two unidentified flying objects in the form of “yellow dots” at high altitude. According to reports, the UFOs remained stationary during the twenty minutes they were observed, leaving no traces of condensation. There were also no photographs or videos of the sighting made by the witnesses.

JAN 23rd, 2000. Time: 12:14 pm. Duration: 15 minutes. In the town of Rebouças, Curitiba, State of Paraná, two witnesses spotted an unidentified flying object shaped like a “dot” and colored “orange”. The reported UFO had the appearance of a “star”, alternating movements and stops. According to the witnesses, the sky was partially cloudy and the object, at the end of its appearance, went to the West. For the COMDABRA’s report [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] the observer of the phenomenon further stated that: “The light disappeared between the clouds while standing still and then reappeared, moving West and disappeared after a few minutes.”

APRIL 4th, 2000. Time: 20h20pm. Duration: 1 minute. A pilot from NES – Nordeste Linhas Aéreas and another witness, when flying near the city of Petrolina, State of Pernambuco, saw an unidentified flying object in the form of a white light. The object, according to the pilot, had the appearance of a “trafficlight”, moving just above 18,000ft in altitude and about 40NM [nautical miles] away from the NES plane.

Observations in the COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command] report state that: “The pilot requested confirmation of traffic in the vicinity of his aircraft, as he observed the fact that it was like an aircraft traveling with its headlights on. Without any other navigation light, anti-collision, etc. After approximately one minute, the light went out without any other sign of traffic. There was no other known traffic in the area according to the ACC [Area Control Center]. “
