MARCH 1st, 2004. TIME: 6:15 am. Duration: 2h30min. In the south of Gioânia, a city in the State of Goiás, an air traffic controller and three other witnesses spotted an immense unidentified white flying object, shaped like an umbrella and almost 2NM [nautical miles] in size. The big UFO remained stationary for almost two hours and thirty minutes. The witness reported that he used binoculars and that the conditions of visibility were satisfactory “above 10km”.
The observations made by the representative of COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command], also bring impressive information about the sighting of this file: “On the Anápolis radar, another object was observed to the right of the first with dimensions of 10 NM, 5x larger than the first. Even with the change of the Sun the object remained with the same brightness. (*2) Circular shape with 3 points below plus 2 lights on each side. * Pilot info (TAM) – above FL 300 [altitude 30.000ft].”
