In Paracatu-MG, nine people sighted a star-like UFO 3 times faster than a jet [1992]

JAN 10th, 1992. Time: 9:15 pm. Duration: 1 minute. Nine people spotted an unidentified flying object zigzagging in Paracatu, State of Minas Gerais. The witness described the UFO as a star-shaped object, white in color and “very fast, more than three times faster than a jet”. According to the reporting witness, the object went from the Southeast to the Northwest, “on the Rio de Janeiro-Brasilia route, in the usual route of the jets”, at the same altitude. The reporter said that a neighbor of his “observed the object and noticed excessive speed in it and called him”.

The UFO phenomenon was observed when the weather conditions were: “partly cloudy, but [it was] possible to observe the stars and other aircraft”. The sighting was carried out with the naked eye.

Complementary data from COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command]: “The object has a white light that pointed up and  down, and also to the sides. Its trajectory was in a zigzag  (SE/NW). The observer is used to seeing aircrafts flying over the city, ensuring that the object was not an aircraft, or a shooting star “.
