JULY 21st, 1990. Time: 10:30 pm. Duration: 5 minutes. A co-pilot on flight VARIG 658 over the region of Campinas, State of São Paulo, reported the sighting of two oval UFOs at low speed. According to the five witnesses of the sighting aboard the plane, the two UFOs remained at an altitude of 16,000ft and constantly in the position between 3-hours and 4-hours compared to VARIG 658. The sighting was carried out with the naked eye and in good visibility conditions. JULY 21st, 1990. Time: 01:21. Duration: 5 minutes. A flight controller at Rio de Janeiro-RJ Airport, reported a radar detection of an unidentified flying object “crossing the LS locator between Luna and Piraí”, State of Rio de Janeiro. Three people followed the UFO’s radar detection as it moved between 150kt and 170 kt [277km / h and 314 km / h] and 60 NM [nautical miles] from Rio de Janeiro Galeão Airport. SEPT 8th, 1990. Time: 19:08. Duration: 110 minutes. As they were flying over the region of Porto Nacional, State of Tocantins, a pilot and a co-pilot in the aircraft prefix PT-LFX spotted with the naked eye and in a clear sky, an unidentified flying object making horizontal and vertical trajectories, ascending “in a uniform manner”. According to the description, the unknown object was round, small and “very luminous; predominantly red and orange”, and had a “very high” speed. Also according to the pilot, the UFO moved “from W to E, crossed the 12 o’clock hours observed. Crossing the trajectory of the PT-LFX perpendicularly”. The UFO was at an estimated distance of 100NM from the aircraft flying on FL-210 [21,000ft of altitude]. SET 29th, 1990. Time: 09:15. Duration: 20 minutes. Four people in the region of Taguatinga Sul, Distrito Federal, observed an unidentified flying object, with a round shape and more than a meter in diameter. According to the reporting witness, the UFO had a dark lead color, and “it was not fast and rotated around its own axis”. The UFO was seen over the Catholic University at a height of 200 meters, making a trajectory in the direction “Guará II – Taquagtinga Sul, Gama entrance”. The sighting was carried out in clear skies and with the naked eye. OCT 30th, 1990. Time: 15:40. Duration: 30 minutes. A resident of Goiânia, State of Goiás, reported having had two UFO experiences between October 1989 and October 1990. In the second, the witness claimed to be “3 meters” away from a UFO that landed in the backyard of his house. According to the witness, the unidentified flying object that “approached from the North” in a straight line, had a rectangular shape, size 5×3 [15 mt2], brown color and slow speed. The witness also stated that there were two beings with the “disk”, which “destroyed the flowers in the garden; they stained and left an unidentified substance”. The UFO made a “tin-like noise” and “left two stones with radiation”; “two stones and rust marks on the plants and white spots”.

Mr. Minister,

I would like to provide a public service to this establishment, and this service is as follows:

On 10/05/90, at approximately 19:45, I observed a phenomenon in the sky that was the following: There were five spheres in the shape of a light; these spheres moved in the following way as shown in the drawing I made.
This central luminous sphere did not move; those that moved were the four spheres around, these spheres, all of them, emitted a light, it was not a very strong light; it gave the impression that this light was a little dull as if it were covered with a fine mist. These luminous spheres moved in the following way: they circulated in different positions and disappeared in this central; this fact I was able to observe for approximately forty-five minutes. I don’t know if it is allowed to comment on this to third parties, but I would like to know what those moving lights were; I have heard many people say that they have seen flying saucers but what people observe is a little different. These lights always moved up to a certain angle; they were nothing more than that, always making a wheel shape.

If possible, Mr. Minister, if ethics allow, I would like to know what this object should be; the reason for my interest is that I really like aviation and everything about it. I once received a magazine called Aerovisão n. 179 and I really liked it; I would like to know if this magazine has a subscription for us to do; if you would like to make one. On October 5th, at approximately 7:45 pm, four lights were observed in the sky, moved in a circle and then joined together disappearing. These lights remained for about 15 minutes or more. I don’t know if it was an unidentified radar or flying object, these lights were not very bright; as for the position, they were in the North position; because from my house I stand with my back to where the sun sets. I tried to communicate with these lights, making signs, but they did not respond; these objects. I had never seen anything so interesting in the sky; I was not afraid to try communication, because these lights did not respond. It is not the light that illuminates Bacacheri Airport [Curitiba-PR], as this light is positioned in a circular line and is just a ray of light. DEC 22nd, 1990. Time: 9:15 pm. Duration: 90 seconds. In the region of Mojiguaçu, State of São Paulo, fourteen people observed a round UFO with colors varying between yellow, orange and red, and alternating stops and erratical fast movements. According to the reporting witness, he was unable to estimate the altitude of the unidentified flying object and its distance to the observers. Still according to the description, the UFO did not produce a trail of displacement when it was seen on its trajectory. The sighting occurred with the naked eye and in good visibility.

DEC, 12th, 1990. Time: 22:45. Duration: 45 seconds. Three people in Brasília, Distrito Federal, spotted two unidentified flying objects, round white, “star-sized” and leaving a trail when moving. According to the witnesses, one of the UFOs was sharper than the smaller one. The UFOs positioned themselves on top of the Brasilia tower, always close to each other. The trajectory of the two unknown objects was Northeast-Southwest, having been observed in a sky with few clouds and with the naked eye and binoculars. FEB 15th, 1991. Time: 12:20. Duration: 15 minutes. In Osasco, State of São Paulo, five people spotted an unidentified flying object at about 1,500m altitude in the southeastern direction. The UFO was round, with an intense red color and carried out vertical and horizontal trajectories. The object was sighted at approximately 3km from the witnesses, under a partially cloudy sky and with the naked eye. MARCH 18th, 1991. 

“Correspondence on the possible occurrence of an unidentified flying object on February 4, 1982, in Mogi das Cruzes, state of São Paulo.”

Dear Mr . Brigadier […]

[…] On 2/2/82, more precisely at 8:05 pm, I was in a local neighborhood, where I lived, observing the weather conditions when I noticed a strange violet light flying at 10° above the horizon in the East-West direction. At first I thought it was an airplane, yet I kept watching it. Suddenly this light  u-turned and started to come towards me (South-North). It was a 90° curve “made in a fraction of a second. As it approached, some colored lights started to light up, apparently, at the bottom.

After crossing the whole neighborhood, the object stopped above the railway nearby; after about 30 seconds, it followed its initial East-West course, again in violet color and always at medium speed. Certainly the Armed Forces and the Brazilian Government itself would compare to some known object, but some points cannot be ignored: its movements prevent it from being a satellite because, as we know, their trajectory is straight. The same movements prevent it from being a balloon because it was visibly controlled. The curve and the strange stop that were made do not allow it to be an airplane. It is also not a heliopter because the object passed over my house and no sound was heard.

Or we were invaded by another nation, which would be ridiculous to think about it, it’s time to publicly admit the existence of these controversial Flying Saucers. This was not the only one sighted in my city. In 1982 alone, two other similar cases occurred, not mentioning the events before and after this year; including photos.
